Topographical Surveys

A topographical survey is used to map the contours of the ground and existing features. Using this data, our team can plan an intricate transport route and highlight any necessary modifications for abnormal load and heavy transport projects.

This process, undertaken in the early days of our planning allows us to identify any features which could potentially impact any abnormal load or heavy transport projects.

Transport Consulting Experts

Our Transport Consulting experts possess the knowledge, experience and skills to analyse the surrounding topography and the impact of abnormal loads & heavy transport projects on the surrounding environment.

This analysis shows us in detail any topography which may impact on the safe passage of the loaded vehicle and allows us to plan accordingly ahead of the abnormal load or heavy transport taking place.

    Cohesive Transport Surveys

Utilising topographical surveys allows us to examine any proposed route(s) in detail, mapping the contours of the ground and existing features on the surface of the earth.

The data gathered by our Transport Consulting team from site visits and swept path analysis, coupled with data gathered during topographical surveys, provides the most accurate indication of any third party land requirements, road widening or pinch points along the route.

    Expert Route Planning

Armed with all this data our Transport Consulting Teams can undertake expert route planning for the heavy transport of your cargo and identify any impact the movement of abnormal load projects would have on the surrounding environment, trees, buildings, street furniture, streets, walkways, manholes and retaining walls and highlight any necessary modifications.  If requested, as part of these topographical surveys, we can also obtain details of Highway Boundaries.
