Crane Vehicles & Lorry Loaders
Our fleet of crane vehicles (also known as HIAB trucks) features front and rear mounted cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 9 to 205 Tonne/Metre. Utilising our crane vehicles allows us to provide a flexible delivery solution, even in restricted environments.
Our ALLMI (Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers) Certified Drivers possess the skills and experience to self-load and unload freight and machinery. This allows us to safely and efficiently undertake transport, haulage, lifting and positioning tasks without the need for hiring mobile cranes or fork trucks.
Crane Vehicle Safe Handling
For complex lifts, as defined in BS7121 Part 4 (Safe Use of Cranes), Collett provide qualified Appointed Persons (APs), Slinger Signallers and Crane Supervisors to plan and execute lifting operations. This service also incorporates the supply of RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), lift plans, calculations and other required documentation.
All our Crane Vehicle Operators are trained and certified, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency when undertaking your lifting requirements.
Rigid & Artic Crane Vehicles
Our crane vehicle fleet consists of both front and rear mounted rigid vehicles including draw-bar trailers (wagon & drag).
In addition, our artic crane vehicles can be used in conjunction with a wide range of trailers including flats, extendables, urban trailers, step-frames and low-loaders.
Our fleet of specialist vehicles allow us to provide a flexible delivery solution for all general haulage and heavy transport.
Flexible delivery
Working alongside our general haulage and heavy transport operations, the addition of our crane vehicles allows us to provide a heavy lift loading, offloading and flexible delivery solution.
Furthermore, our Projects Team provide engineering calculations and planning for complex lifting solutions tailored specifically to each individual project. Utilising our fleet of articulated crane vehicles and HIAB vehicles allows us to provide a flexible haulage solution for a variety of cargo requirements.
This provides a wide variety of heavy haulage and lifting solutions, ideal in environments where space may be restricted.
