Working closely with local supplier Atlas Cranes UK Ltd, we commissioned the new Effer due to its unrivalled technological prowess, strength and performance. “The welcome addition of the new Effer 2055 into our fleet allows Collett Transport to take a huge leap forward within the industry, offering unique lifting capabilities and providing customers with a cost effective solution for their heavy lift requirements,” said David Collett, Managing Director of Collett & Sons Ltd. “The Effer 2055 crane is the very first crane of this capacity off the production line in Italy. Atlas Cranes are the recognised dealer in the UK for Effer, and as we have worked with them in the past we were confident that the acquisition of this machine would be the ideal addition to our fleet. We are delighted with the results.”
Collected from the production factory in Bologna, Italy on 16th July, the machine travelled the length of Europe, eventually arriving at our Halifax Head Office on Friday 18th July. Already turning heads within the industry, the Effer 2055 stands to become one of the shining jewels in our crown offering an unrivalled lifting capacity and providing us with the opportunity to showcase their expertise.
“Atlas are delighted to have delivered this class leading machine to one of our valued customers” said Jim Smith, Managing Director for Atlas Cranes Ltd “Collett’s commitment to investing in new technology secures them as one of the foremost heavy haulage companies in the UK”.
